A request for weird data hoarders out there

There's an obscure Japanese tracker format known as "Ultramarine" (UM). The thing about it is that it stores the samples outside the songs, so they can be reused between songs. I've lost the old archive of music I had in the mid-2000s, and I'm digging it back up now. I've found that I can find a few Ultramarine songs, but the sample bank they were written for wasn't archived.

I've been able to speak to one of the people who composed music in it, but he doesn't seem to have his files anymore and isn't currently focused on his older stuff.

Is FMP (OPI, PVI, or OZI files) relevant to this? i searched "tan-y" soulseek and found their leaf album in those formats in a folder called "fmppmd"- there's a user who has a pretty sizeable archive of these, and some of the links on the download page do suggest they're PMD

edit: this post suggests they're similar but distinct, but because there is some overlap in the artists, this might still be interesting?

Wow, it would never have occurred to me that'd show up on Soulseek! FMP's a file format for PC-98; it uses FM synth for the main instruments, but has UM-style external sample banks for sampled instruments.

I wonder if any of his other files are circulating that way... what are the filenames of the files you found?

Took a look at Tan-Y's download page, and it seems some of the links work, but they download as dlcnt.cgi, yet are the actual files they say they are and can be extracted with 7-zip. Namely:

Oh my god, that's it! I thought I audited all those links but I must have missed that there was a real download there. I tested and the files I have from Gay-LLA that need it can play back using it. Thank you!
