I'm more than happy to jump in on the doodle bandwagon, but as a lot of the stuff I've been drawing lately is very NSFW (and sometimes pornographic), I've made another account over at @/ersatzsapience. I'll start posting some of that stuff over there in a few days for anyone interested in that stuff, and I'll put the more acceptable stuff here. Get ready for lots of face sketches.

One thing I learned in my short time on Cohost is that the site is very adult content friendly. Oh gosh, how adult content friendly it is. XD
Seems like every artist I've checked has an alt for lewd stuff. Granted I haven't checked that many of them.
Cool stuff too, is it for some kind of project or something ?
Edit : I went and followed that other account preemptively.

I imagine a lot of artists go through a similar phase, if they have any ounce of lust: they get to the point where they can draw human bodies well enough, and then the dirty thoughts arrive.
Thanks! No project, just general practice. I like doing character art, and recently I've been working on hair, expressions, view points, etc with faces.

Also, kudos on you for constructing your characters like a Burne Hogarth drawing. I could never do that, but I was trained to NOT do that with drawing humans. I was taught a way that doesnt require that, but it involves a lot of observing of how humans move and where they put their weight in a pose, and guidance from teachers was helpful in figuring that out. I would want for you to try a book called Drawing With Force by Mike Matessi. Really the best thing you can do for your humanoid figure drawings. But I very much like the thicc lady you drew, she/they got hips for dayyyssss

I had to look up Mike Matessi, but I think I've seen a few videos of him on various how to draw youtube videos. I'll look more into it, thanks for the suggestion!
I was taught that kind of construction in school. It always blows my mind when I see, in my experiences, Japanese artists basically drawing with no construction at all and nailing everything. Although everyone I've seen are also professionals so that would make sense that they're that good and practiced.
If you like thick women, you're in for a treat if you pay attention to my other account: I tend to go a bit wild with proportions. Even the men I draw tend to have wide hips.
