If so, for me I am irrationally irritated by the marketing bullshit that the book is real and fell into Vaughn’s lap before it was published. And all the faux mystery behind the author. Maybe it’s because I’m working to break into this world myself but it feels insulting to be so flippant about it and use publication as a marketing gimmick.

Yeah, Argylle. I haven't been paying much attention to the movie or it's advertising. I just saw the line in my post and it just sapped any interest away that I could've possibly had.
