Hey y'all, if we absolutely need to, I might have a solution. I'm currently in some web design classes and I've been meaning to make a website. I haven't done a whole lot of research on it, but I can't imagine installing a forum is outside of my abilities. And I think hosting a few dozen degenerates is within my budget. Just need a month or two.

Also, if anyone has web host recommendations, I'd love to hear them.

I'd be willing to support it with my attendance and attention, but it'll take buyin from people to make it work.

A minor miracle happened in migrating nearly everyone to cohost. We can only hope to be so lucky again.

Yeah, for sure. It seems like we already have a few around that barely had the tolerance for social media just to make it to cohost.

Really, it's just something I'd thought I'd throw out there, since I was already planning on building a website anyways. What I've got planned for that website, building a forum seems like something I could do fairly easily.

When I had my own website, I had a friend build it for me and our community and I went with Bluehost. It wasn't too expensive, like $120 for the first year? and if I'm not remembering incorrectly, the 2nd year wasn't that much more expensive. I spent another 80-100 bucks on the site "theme". I think it was called crystal skull or something? The site looked really damn slick with sliders at the top for new articles and the old articles at the bottom and it worked great. At that time, I did not have any monthly hosting expenses. It was a one time yearly fee.

If we went that route, I'd be willing to chip in to help with costs.
