heartbreaking how often i see kids asking for at home advice for their dying rats because their parents refuse to take them to the vet as they dont see them as high value pets like their children do. and then folks online will rake the kid over the coals for having a pet they can't afford like they are not very clearly a child. i fucking hate pet boards sometimes.
