what cohost really taught me is that I don't want to be negative about websites anymore. I can't bear it. I want to be on websites I like, and if I don't like the website, I want to simply not be on it, rather than complaining about how terrible the website is on the website while I bear it for the sake of some vague idea of enrichment (mutuals, follower count, sunk cost "brand building") that isn't half as important as it feels

if I don't like the website, and I don't have the tools to improve the website, I need to leave the website. it's ok to leave the website. the fomo is a promise broken before it's even made
