re: reading "the video game industry does not exist" i've also really been enjoying getting more into non-fiction and academic stuff recently... i read "the queer games avant-garde" a few months ago and that also definitely influenced the way i've been thinking about gamemaking as an artistic process
not video game related but i do want to read "the queer art of failure" as well... really enjoyed my gender studies class last semester and queer theory is definitely something i'd like to get more into
