In the long term I want to build relationships with people capable of thinking about serious subjects.

Ideally I would find people serious about novelty and how to make space for it.

This is my reaction to the potential for loss of things of worth due adaptonium. Adaptonium is, in an evolutionary setting, like capitalism there can be the pressure to lose things that do not seem to have adaptive value. This can manifest in a variety of ways, AIs can take over accidentally and never have done the things, uploaded humans can lose parts of themselves as can society where editing is allowed. Novelty is one of those things that could be edited out. If exploitation (the use of knowledge) wins out over exploration (the search for novelty) for evolutionary amounts of time, then exploration may die out, leaving nothing in the gene pool. So I am interested in avoiding that scenario, by colluding with other that think that might be a bad outcome and finding ways to protect and other things like it from short term evolutionary pressure.
