One of the good things about HR is that it can try and promote a consistent approach to hiring. So that things like nepotism aren't as rampant. Howver having a consistent approach means that the same type of people will get hired time after time, leading to group think.
Is it possible to add a consistent bit of boredom to the HR process, so that slightly left field people are selected some times. Just to shake things up, but in a consistent and fair way.
