When you go to use a conveyor belt toaster and find that someone has put in a thing of bread identical to yours and run off, do you:
a) Put in your bread, then take theirs when it comes out, therefore leaving them with your bread which will be slightly later and warmer
b) Put in your bread and take the same one when it comes out, therefore leaving them with the earlier and slightly colder bread
I feel this is more powerful than the original trolley problem as it touches on matters of property and identity. Tell me your thoughts.
