Wallhaven used to be my favorite site for wallpapers, and i've always used it without giving much thought.
Until one day, I saw a reddit comment mentioning that many artists don't like the site because it's mostly uncredited art - Wallhaven allows uploaders to enter the source, but sadly it's optional. (tho everyone can help add the source) That literally never crossed my mind before :(
It's a shame, because Wallhaven is still a really good site for discovering wallpaper-worthy art and amazing artists. If I ever use it again, I'll repent for my sins 🙏 - always find and add the source + follow the artist directly (on pixiv or twitter) for every wallpaper I favorite from now on.
