Software is really easy to make, anyone can do it! As long as you:
- Ignore accessibility concerns
- Run only only a single platform / operating system
- Test in only one browser
- Focus on desktop or mobile and not both
- Are English-only
- Skip writing tests
- Don't automate any of your release process
- Can use open source libraries
- Assume a fast internet connection
- Use third party vendors for things like payments
- Run on a single server with no redundancy
- Do not sync data between devices
- Do not support concurrent edits
- Have very few users
- Don't have to pay the bills soon
- Never ship updates
Put another way: software isn't really easy to make!
