i'm amazed by the fact that i never needed to charge my laptop at school. i mean, the battery life is not amazing by lightweight laptop standards, but everyone else have gaming laptops so they have to constantly charge it.
gaming laptops are truly the worst of both worlds. they suck at gaming because they have to fit in a laptop; they fail at being a laptop because they're always too bulky and heavy for your lap, and their battery lasts like half an hour; they're bad as computers at home because of how un-ergonomic they are.
i think everyone got them because it's cheaper to just get one inferior device, vs 2 devices that are actually good at their job. plus some people games in class for some reason. pretty sure you're supposed to pay attention. i guess that makes sense, but i'd say it's worth the money to invest in an upgradable and more ergonomic pc, given how much time we spend on our computers each day.
