fsck is truly an all-time great unix program name. zero clue what it stands for but somehow perfectly conveys how you feel when you use it. really knocked it out of the park on that one
one of my best memories is using fsck to fix a broken firewall when i was 15 or 16 at my local IT place summer job. i was there with the company owner and lead technician and none of them knew what to do and i pulled out the firewall docs and fixed it in like 10 mins
