whatsapp's organization features are so lackluster. the communities feature is so bad that i don't know where to start. it's like a mix of discord and whatsapp with the worst of both worlds.

i would be happy if they just added ANY feature that lets me categorize chats on my side. but all we got is this mess.

actually, they do already have a tagging feature, but only for business accounts. for some reason.

i found some third-party browser extensions, but none of them are available for firefox. i guess whatsapp is the most normie chat app and therefore you only need to support the most normie web browser.

so, as a band-aid solution, i just used a userstyle to color the chat names. it sucks but it works.
