You still gotta ask me before you enact a stupid plan to turn me back. Even/especially if you defeat that power first.

You know full well that in the circumstances that made me post this, the monstrous TF was not undone by the change of hands or the death of the original offender, but you raise a good point.
If the choice is between "put me under a different person's control but leave me a terrifying monster" and "turn me back and free me from any mental shackles", the choice is overwhelmingly the former, ideally to one of my loved ones.
