Haruka is also really cool.... his storys so interesting but it also makes me incredibly sad :(

i wasnt in the fandom yet when it released so i dont think i had a reaction that strong, but i understand its. oughh
youre right mu is very funny i love her. shes such a....i guess deep character? all of them are but she has so many layers and its so cool!!!!!! i do with she was more appreciated as a character, its not as simple as her being 100% evil or 100% pure, thats. not how humans work
also i really love es but i think its understandable youre not that into them!! honestly all of the milgram characters are so deep and interesting and varied and just. cool?? hrnghh milgram is so awesome

Yes, Muu is more interesting than people give her credit for
One oft. overlooked thing is her ethnic identity
Her first voice drama literally opens with Es asking if she's 'Half [Japanese]' and Muu responds telling them she's Double [a newer Japanese term for being Both Fully French And Fully Japanese]
And this really encapsulates her whole thing to me
She isn't Just a bully or just a victim
She is a good person And a bad person at the same time and putting your blinders on for one of these is seeing only part of her
someone on tumblr did a whole ramble about that part of Muu, it goes off on a tangent in the middle then comes back strong towards the end

I do really love all the milgram characters... Yamanaka is a great writer
One thing I love is how Everyone is fleshed out
uh idk how to explain it but like
I feel so bad for Haruka and yet he's still allowed to do bad things and have negative emotions
A weaker writer would've toned that stuff down to make him more palletable and as to not imply that disability makes him evil or whatever, But I see myself in him better because he's more realistic than if he was just sad and he'd never done or thought anything wrong in his life because thats not what humans are like

also ive seen that post!!! its really good and made me think of a topic i dont really think of when thinking about Mu's story and it made me think of her as a much deeper character than i first thought

i love how Yamanaka is not afraid to like. show human emotions in a way thats messy!!! and complicated!!!! and just overall realistic

i dont know how to explain very well but. something about how its clear that his disability wasnt what led to his murder. it was the way his family treated him because of it. something about a reason, not a justification

I remember feeling like I was joining the fandom late, since MeMe was a big time of lots of people joining due to Hanae Natsuki (Mikoto's VA very popular)
I remember meeting people who had been in the fandom since After Pain or Weakness
Some even being as early as Undercover (reduced to theorising about Es' chair because there was no other content yet!)
