i don't think that tumblr's userbase should be willing to just roll over and die in the face of the. y'know. but at the same time i think we have very much entered the death spiral. reviewbombing the app and spreading posts voicing displeasure and tagging staff and whatever are not bad ideas and we might as well do them so we can say we put up a fight but i really think the company is going to do whatever the fuck they want, because ultimately social networks are no longer made for human beings who act as users, they're for the mere concept of users. ghosts of the algorithm drifting around sites that nobody likes and everybody is cuffed to. but i'm not posting this over there because teehee i don't want to
