last week my dental hygienist told me she was very passionate about teeth and that she could "talk about them all day without stopping", so i said i was curious to hear her try, and boy did she. i was getting the mona lisa of routine cleanings while she expressed opinions about teeth that the neurotypical mind couldn't conceive of. she told me she was "so excited for me" because of how my gum health had improved from my previous visit and left me with three samples of toothpastes complete with a comprehensive rundown on why they were selected for my teeth specifically.
