it lets you host all sorts of things without having to fiddle with docker and reverse-DNS, on the other hand, it's the worst mobile experience on a main page i've ever felt so I didn't even bother installing it
Reverse DNS for local use or "home cloud" use? People don't just use .localhost?
... I'm thinking of something else, aren't I?
if you want to, say, host many things in docker containers, that expect port 443 or 80, you'll need something that can shunt those to their respective docker containers.
home cloud still needs to be accessible from outside the home if you're using it for syncing :)
but also nextcloud just refuses to be detached from the outside world

but yes, expecting the average rando to do that isn't good
at the very least you have to give me a shell script i can look at before it's executed with the highest system privileges.
it's right there at get.casaos.io for what it's worth -- most of these one-liners are just to a text file hosted at the url.
but it ALSO doesn't wrap it in a function
