why would i want my operating system to offer me long-term support? i have a blahaj for that
Don't underestimate the power of a robust support network. Blahaj might be going thru some personal stuff while Manjaro is there for you

Worried civil partnership not for you? Try civil infrastructure Linux (which is secretly just a longer supported LTS Debian, it turns out.)
(context for the uninitiated: Manjaro has historically had some rocky choices with regard to security and system stability, leading to a kind of "manjaro bad" meme within and around users of Arch, the distro on which Manjaro is based)
