How is "are you signed out of steam friends" not a pre-stream question to all runners on gdq?
The runners are not here to grind WR. They are here to put on a show for an audience. Please take the 10 seconds mid run to fix the issue and stop running with "displays transphobic text to save time" tech
I've gotta be honest, for most PC games I think maybe unplugging the ethernet after launching steam is a good idea.
the first friend popup immediately put me on edge, I knew it was only a matter of time and it wasn't going to be addressed fast enough
It happens every marathon! It is trivial to prevent! The runner should double check. The staff should ask. The second a popup shows up the run should be paused immediately!
Steam shoyld have a streamer mode that hides the popups or at least hides the names. There are so many points where this can be solved but nobody does??
i guess the bright side is we know who has friends with transphobic text in their display names and it doesn't register as a thing to pause the stream for, but yeah 100%.
