Black socks never get dirty the longer you wear them the stronger the seasoning gets. Dude if you launder your back socks with laundry detergent it'll ruin the seasoning. Just scrubb them under hot water and dry them on the stove. Or put them in a freezer bag and freeze them in your freezer to kill the bacteria and remove the smell. If you wash them yet it'll just ruin them and show you're just not fit to take care of a pair of black socks. No don't wash them yet not yet not yet not yet
I’ve got a pair of black socks that’s been in my family for three generations. Every time I take them out of the drawer, I can smell Dad and Grandpa’s feet. It helps me remember that we’re all connected.
Every once in a while you should coat them in oil and put them in your oven on the hottest temperature it will go to.
