and you can use it as a live wallpaper on android, with the colors shifting in sync with the time of day (so it gets sunsetty around IRL sunset, for example). and you can have it change to a random image once a day, once a month, once an hour. the most recent thing added was ambient soundscapes for each scene. highly recommended!

My hospital has done yet, I cannot view this site as it is blocked.

It does crash. In less than 24 hours I've already encountered one, woke up this morning to my phone using the default NovaLauncher wallpaper.

That being said, it's only been like 18 hours. So I can't say for sure it's totally fixed. But it seems better so far.

i found this website years ago when i was in middle school and thought it was crazy how you could just use color palettes to do animations like this. i didnt understand how it worked back then, and i still kinda dont!

sadly not since windows 98-XP's "active desktop" feature was removed, i think.

during the windows 7 era there was a program called "WallpaperWebPage" that let you fake having a webpage as your desktop (i think it actually just drew a borderless immovable window over your actual desktop, covering any icons you had there?), but i don't know if it has survived into the win10+ era. https://archive.org/details/WallpaperWebPage_zip

Blast. Thank you for this, though. I assume this is more or less what people use Wallpaper Engine for on Steam but that's always sounded mildly weird to me. My biggest problem is how badly Windows 10 compresses your desktop wallpaper, for whatever reason. I even tried that regedit everyone says to use, no luck there. Ahh well.
