honestly I think this stuff is actually real. like actual prototype software has been leaking out of Apple for like 5 years now. they're going to be demoing hardware to reporters after the show. one of Apple's top three mantras is "Real Artists Ship." I can't think of the last time Apple showed off software in a keynote that didn't actually launch pretty quickly. (AirPower is basically the only example of hardware that didn't.)
this was mostly in response to the disney portion, which demo'd no real apps but just was a 3 minute "what if?"
yeah fair definitely the weakest part. reminded me of iAd, really strongly. which did ship! it just immediately flopped and had very few clients.
welp, incredibly cool tech demo that won't be relevant to basically anyone for 5 years lol
