Thank you, if only because this is the single funniest Achewood strip out there, and it needed to be brought to life.
Fond memories of starting to read Achewood some time mid 06, going through the archives. This being one of the strips I laughed out loud at.
Bonus points: This is triggering a crash in either Mesa or Gnome Shell if I've got TeamViewer sharing my Wayland desktop. It doesn't happen if I run Firefox with the Zink OpenGL driver instead of Iris.
one of these days i'm gonna need to read Achewood in its entirety (a daunting proposition, i know)
most of my Achewood knowledge centers on That Time Roast Beef Shot a Guy By Accident, the Comic Sans curbstomp, that thing XKCD parodied once (beating its record for the longest uninterrupted sequence of awkward beat panels), and Cartilage Head
"I PROVED MYSELF A COWARD WHO WOULD DESERT A DYING MAN"
if nothing else you need to read the Great Outdoor Fight arc, aka the ultimate "70s action movie you'd see airing Sunday afternoon on basic cable" pastiche
The Great Outdoor Fight is an all-timer
even though this doesn’t work on mobile i know exactly what it’s supposed to do and if that doesn’t speak volumes
Incredible. My mood has been elevated almost as high as this motorcycle
anyone else ramping the motorcycle off the mountain into the post above it?
