Every so often I think about how there was a thread about area codes on something awful and I was like "yeah so 201 got overlaid with 973 at some point so we went from having the lowest one to one of the highest ones" and then some dude came in and started talking about "actually 201 would have had more clicks due to the way phones send numeric signals for dialing" and I was like "that's not what we're talking about"
