i don't know what the right answer is but i spent about 10 minutes alternating muttering curse words under my breath and shouting them while i tried to soak up the bulk of it with paper towels and went over it with a swiffer (hey did you know you can get fabric reusable swiffer pads you can just throw them in the washing machine when you're done)
also it hit one of my kitchen utensil holder cups so nearly every spatula I have needs to go in the dishwasher tonight.
