I might rewrite the whole sonarr encode script in python, trying to debug weird issues is too confusing because I have to jump back and forth between bash and python, checking exit codes, etc.
Ultimately I should just be constructing the ffmpeg command in pure python and running it w/ subprocess because it would be easier for me to just call mediainfo --Inform once and parse the JSON and keep it in memory for each thing I need to check for.
Whoever the fuck is out here uploading .ts files to Usenet you are ruining my day
I am not proud of this code but I want to give a special fuck you to whoever is generating .ts files with both text and bitmap formats in separate tracks so I can't just say -c:s srt and be done with it.
