I would say about 50% of my opinion on things in Palestine is informed by the overwhelming amount of Jewish people I know horrified with what a state government is doing ostensibly in their name. This was true in 2006, it was true a decade ago, it's true now. To say that Israel speaks for all or even most Jewish people is at best incredibly ignorant, naïve, and reductionist, and at its worse brazenly anti-Semitic.

Thanks for this, I've been completely at a loss for what even to say about the whole situation that I just don't have the words, and this comes really close to how I've been feeling when I don't have my own words to say about this yet.
