I want to play arena shooters with people, but I also am not aware of any real queer friendly/run groups of people who also are interested in them.
So, I ask myself: why not start one?
This isn't set in stone, but I am genuinely curious.
Would anybody on this site be interested in a weekly/biweekly boomer shooter night? I want to get a group going where people of all skill levels can hop in and out and just have a fun time fragging each other.

alright, then- i will try to learn more about how to get a server running throughout the week.
for whatever reason, port forwarding doesn't seem to work w/ my new ISP (might have to call them to give me a static ip instead of just using one i give myself) and i also would prefer to not use my own bandwith
SO i'm gonna look into avenues for renting a humble little server.
if anybody knows of a good site/place to rent servers from. please let me know ASAP!
Works been busy and my energy has been low but I've been looking into things again and the best possible option would be for me to host on my own bandwidth.
Problem is, I need to arrange to give myself a static IP with my ISP....
Will update more as time goes on and when I have the energy to do so.

life hit me fast and is still hitting me fast, so i wanted to poke my head in and ask if there's any discords dedicated to retro FPS' that are queer owned/accommodating
i am not in a situation where i can host servers for games like quake or unreal, but i do want to arrange times for people to play them and potentially find someone who can handle server shit.
