I would be extremely concerned about building code violations if a house on zillow suddenly became a black friday deal
This is extremely normal and totally safe. :) It is absolutely fine and alright to use construction styles that are designed for warm, non-rainy areas in cold, rainy ones. :))
Remembering the house I looked at this past January when we were househunting and we checked out the basement and the foundation was Fucking Wet and the realtor was immediately "Yeah so.... maybe don't buy this one"
