I have nicked my upper lip REAL bad, however as someone who used to suffer alot of frequent nosebleeds i keep an alum block on hand (generally for jamming up my nose to stop nosebleeds in the dry months)
I wouldn't say its much closer than a normal 4-blade razor but that was a first attempt, I really wasn't sure if I was getting the angle right
