that's one of the reasons I prefer glass or silicone, much lower heat transfer. glass still gets cold, but not nearly as much as metal imo.

I've very much noticed the same with my septum rings. My cold tolerance went from a hardy New Englander's back to my west coast roots.
i dont think it would have been nearly as bad if it weren't super windy out.
