Especially if people stick to one tag you like, and mention people in that tag, and switch tags each week. That way each post isn't the same 40 people repeated, but instead 'Oh, if you like (fandom/hobby/game) content, follow x, y, z'
Rotating posting feeds via tags would be fun!
Each week everyone is randomly shuffled into Red, Blue, or Green team, and you tag all your posts team-red or whatever. Next week pick new teams and shuffle everyone
While I disagree with your interpretation (I meant each person picks a tag they like, like WH40k, modeling, photography, etc), if that did become the way someone wanted to do it, I can see a CSS-crime that had a wheel that stopped on a color when you clicked on it and that's your team for the follow Friday.
