i can't afford it right now but maybe at the start of next year I can start hiring contractors to fix some of the things around the house that are egregious (windows and doors, subfloor repair & to get to the subfloor we'll have to reinstall the regular floor also)
this, of course, has not stopped me from looking up contractors and there's something interesting going on where the yelp reviews are crazy bad and the google reviews are crazy good and none of it seems real
iirc google takes down reviews upon request by the owner but yelp requires you to pay for it and surfaces bad reviews if you don’t
