I said this in response to a lamentation vaguely about Let's Plays and the SA forum that some of us used for some purposes 15 or more years back. I'll say it again:
Stranger, please understand when I say this that I walked in those ways. I was partially responsible for the gigaquad. I wrestled with decombing filters to deal with the wretched noise of gear shifting between eras of visual technology evolving. Keep the pain. It is worth and earned. But forget the void.
What I keep is: we struggled against darkness worse than this, not to survive, but to wisecrack. We're indestructible.
