Most of the API 1.1 endpoints are still busted, which is why old TweetDeck is out of commission but the newer APIs (v2 (the public one) and GraphQL (the private one) still work. So I guess they somehow tripped over the wires that power the servers of API 1.1, somehow, idk. A whole circus.
I can still tweet from an old tweetdeck tab so I have NO IDEA what the FUCK they did it is a technological marvel that anything is working over there.
This is like trying to plug up a Nintendo DS in a hospital bedroom so you can charge it, only to accidently unplug someone's life support
Funnily enough the 1.1 api actually works better than the website/app itself, yesterday I couldn't load my dms the normal way but through the API, sure thing buddy here's your 50 most recent messages :')
I got a very crude script setup for this now so I guess I can use that in case shit hits the fan.
My bots (which use 1.1) also never stopped posting during last night's outage while regular tweeters couldn't tweet at all.
