You know those trees where like a big part of the tree just dies or doesn’t really grow properly, and then another like part of the tree or a branch starts wrapping around it and growing and building off of the foundation of the dead parts and it’s kind of like a new tree but the old parts are still there and help hold the new branches up, and the end result is this very beautiful and unique tree that looks cool as hell?

and you first see the tree, and it looks dead, right, and you think “wow, that’s sad :(“, but then you notice the branches and offshoots that are still growing and demanding to exist and you’re like “oh fuck yes, you wild son of a bitch, keep going!”
