The Harpy of the West

(drawings, plants, books, movies, and way too many hobbies. if i can make it by hand i probably will. banjo amateur. professional field botanist. will categorize your soil horizons for food.)

ohohoho the indie theater in the city is screening a bunch of giallo films this coming January. i have been to this place only a couple times because it's far away, but they are always showing something interesting for reasonable ticket prices AND gialli were my 2021 special interest. i don't love driving an hour to the city at night on a friday but i think it would be worth it to see Lizard in a Woman's Skin at the very least, if i can't make it to any others (and if i can spare the money i'd especially like to make it to the double feature! and movies i haven't seen before!)

idk how people live in the city and not spend all their money on Fun Events. it's probably good for me to be in a relatively boring small town even though i very much want a membership to an indie theater. we USED to have a cool movie theater with a super fun old interior from the 80s where i went to $5 matinees a lot, but it was sold and is now an absolutely desolate Cinebarre.
