her ring being the same color as the ground behind it is a little visually confusing but otherwise i like it!
Thank you! It is a little funky - it's the color of the ring in the interior pages so I'm not sure what to do about it...maybe if it was just white?
maybe, or if you could shift the gradient behind so it's against a slightly greyer color? leaving it as-is wouldn't be bad either, it didn't take long to figure it out i just had a split second of thinking there was a hole in their hand

I've been thinking about it with the pages you have put out. But I wanted to ask you if you feel like you are now doing your BIG work? Like, not only in scope, but in like the culmination of all the things you had been doing for years into something larger.
That's a good question! I hadn't really thought about it like that but no, I don't think I'm doing my big work. I think that's yet to come.
Awesome. Yeah, more than anything I just like seeing how you have built up what you started with The Whys to Silver Grass to now Future Proof. That as we all continue to get older we not only become more ourselves as people, but that our work become more distinctly our own. This feels like the most Virginia Paine-y comic you have yet made in the best possible way.
