Toy Fighter's catch counter is... something! Probably the most intense combo escape I've seen in a fighting game.

After launching someone, you do risk 40% of your own lifebar to go for a combo, because the opponent can parry you in the air and take two hearts.

Except... do you? If they miss the parry, they bounce on the ground and you can hit them again. More importantly, there's a big blue escape window on the parry, so you could, in theory, say "When I launch and go for this juggle, i'll buffer my catch break here at the hit so that I never lose anything."

It's an interesting system that sort of self-resolves itself. There's a lot of interactivity once you really get into it, but you have to get there. It's interesting, but I'm still working on how I feel about it from a positive/negative stand point.
