As cynical as I am about officials and agencies, this all feels more concrete now that the charges for my firing for union activity are up on the labor board site. It's been exhausting to even get here and there's only more ahead. Folks I've talked to have seen it take 9-12 months for these to fully play out.
With that in mind I'm still trying to raise enough to make sure I can stay housed and on hrt during that time.
I'm also trying to stay grounded and remember that injustice and union-busting thrive on silence. In this case the employer claims to be pro-union but their actions behind the scenes are the complete opposite. Whatever happens at least I've refused to be quiet and hopefully at least a few more people know the truth.
