in certain (mostly overly serious) writing circles, "stew" is considered a sort of meme about supposedly lazy writing because it means you didn't do enough lore-building about the culinary specifics of your constructed world and every time i see the noun "stew" i cannot help but think of this and think "those people should probably chill"
Is stew the most common food in human history? I’m not an anthropologist, just a dumb guy. but it feel like anybody who invents “cooking” as a technology is going to arrive at stew pretty much immediately and as such would be the common denominator across the varied worlds of Friends at the Table.
