Need to cover a shortfall caused by unexpected vehicle failure (brother's van died) following on necessary home repairs and upgrades (toilet replacement, roof repair, solar panel installation impending) with bad timing (additional income source a month away from coming in, mortgage payment impending, medications and other monthly bills hitting). Keeping this tenuous kin group housing (mother, grandmother, brother, two dogs, one cat, sometimes and hopefully more soon one niece, soon to be three good friends) chugging along has many costs, and only some can be covered with personal labor.
Please help me fix the bathroom door, the holes in drywall left over from past construction and order damage, and otherwise keep this thing running. I want to make this place better by the time @amaranth-witch moves in, not worse.
The friends who were supposed to move in earlier failed to notify their landlord, and are on the hook to pay him for July. Which means they can't pay into a shared household with me for July. With my brother's van breaking down so we're down to two vehicles between two households instead of three, and the extra expenses of house repairs and the continuing intensifying legal battle from his ex being an abusively negligent and slandering liar of a coparent to their child, and my having no income due to full time caring for my elderly grandmother, and my dad's income being gone because he died in January, it's gotten bad.
In short, about $1500 I was counting on coming in for July, won't be, and I'm scrambling to find ways to make up for it.
