Not as far as I can tell, it seems to have mysteriously reset to some sort of default state since this coincided with all my settings resetting. It's actually stuck on Region A despite being an Australian model and it's still region free for DVDs, so my guess is it somehow booted into something that doesn't have the region switch button code?
Hopefully you can message the people who modded it and see if there's a procedure, or if they can provide an update file you can flash from a USB drive
That is exactly what I have done, and in the meantime I am borrowing the cheap Laser player back from my parents to fill the disc-playing gap
