I mean, I know it was a brief, bright, strange, deeply flawed vanity project by one of the great "nepo babies" of the modern age. But also uhhhhhhhh wow, what even WAS that.
And it's largely because it's such a weird bizarre mess trying to grapple with neoliberal wealth and success and how capitalism gamifies your life and hollows it out
And it has such a bizarre selection of people working on it. It's creative director was Ben Jones of Stone Quackers fame (an incredibly niche show my wife introduced to me which now plays endlessly in my brain). Jaden Smith and Jason Schwartzman both voice in it. It was animated by Studio Deen and Production IG. It has a genderbend episode which The Mary Sue hated and i love.
Honestly i wish they made more but also it's nice that they didn't. We have a pretty perfect slice of story as-is and it feels like a moment which has been lost in the wind. Lost like a large novelty candy bar...
