Just curious- do you use a mouse for your pixel art, or some kind of tablet?
I may have reason to call on your help later...
My earlier decks (the first color project with the tiny kitchen) were done with a laptop track pad, this project has been entirely with a display tablet. Decker fullscreen + toolbars fills the display very nicely. 
Just FYI, I added a few obscure keyboard shortcuts to native-decker a while back specifically to aid setting up bindings for the programmable buttons on drawing tablets: 1, 2, and 3 pull up the stroke/fill/brush modal, the F-keys are equivalent to pressing the toolbar buttons, and while you have some drawing tool active 9 and 0 cycle through brush shapes; I tried mapping those last two to my tablet's thumb-wheel and it was kinda nice.
