Regarding physical media stuff, it seems like there was a time when lots of people found themselves with a physical media collection of some sort, whether it's DVDs, CDs or what have you. But apparently at some point, other people stopped and possibly got rid of their collections. I don't understand why they did this though. Meanwhile like I just kept getting stuff and putting it nicely on a shelf and yes I'm aware that now this makes me a niche collector person but I'm not sure when it is that this happened.
