100% Millie's Feelings, all on one disk! Or one html file on a webbed site, but if you want it on a disk please feel free to let me know!

I deeply want to hear from people who read these so please drop me a line if you do.

Also, it's now July, the month of Decker Fantasy Camp 2023! I will be participating, and you should too! https://itch.io/jam/decker-fantasy-camp-2023

Honestly, the vibes of these Sony disks are excellent! I like the colour pattern on the label, as well as the reminder of Japanese computing standards implied by the fact that the IBM format checkbox is labelled also with "DOS/V". That being said, I do have plans to get a more consistent disk supply such that I won't be running out any time soon.

Getting a bit "back to basics" with this one, with a lot of the content just being "Millie's Feelings All Over A Page". I talk about why in the foreword a bit. It's probably a bit more personal than my last couple of issues, so yeah haha.

My original fancy pants animated opening that involved having an X zoom onto the screen turned out to Really Not Work on web-decker (like it would chug away at 2fps and take forever, when in native decker I could run it at full framerate), I guess because web-decker is kinda slow at resizing images compared to native decker. Since I do most of my work in native decker I only realised this right as I was exporting to publish, so I had to scramble to have a somewhat less impressive opening that's a bit more reliable. As such this is probably a less technically complex deck than my last couple, but tbh that kinda fits my back to basics vibe.

Anyway, yeah check it out, let me know, letters page, etc, the usual thing.

working on a little animated effect in decker for the next zine, trying to figure out the maths to figure out where I went wrong, and I found myself needing to scribble some diagrams and jot down some notes to help my brain make sense of it

so I opened up another decker window and just used that as virtual scrap paper for my diagrams and notes

the PERFECT tool. EVERYTHING!
